So why did the deployment fail....?

One of the problems that can be encountered when building systems through Deployment Solution is that the automation boot environment fails to load leading to a deployment failure.

However the information that is returned by the this process can be extremely limited which means one needs to start hacking into it line by line to try and work out at what point this fails and then why this fails. Is it because of a missing network card driver or because the network share failed to load?

Idiag is a utility that is easy to imbed into the automation boot environment which will advise whether certain critical steps in the automation load process have been completed successfully. Has the driver loaded? Has an IP address been obtained? Has the network share been mounted?
